Where to begin......?

So here goes a little mini-biography about me and the world in which I live.

Currently, I am 35 years old and originally, I hail from Little Rock, Arkansas, where I grew up on the outskirts of the city on a family farm. I lived there until I graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School in 1989, and then went off to college at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. While attending Hendrix, I obtained a B.A in History. It was during this time that I was first introduced to the sport of RUGBY!

After gradating college, it was off to the University of Arkansas where I enrolled in law school. Graduated law school in 1996 and begun my career in the telecommunications industry with ALLTEL Communications. Shortly after starting work, I enrolled in the MBA program at the University and completed it roughly 3 years later. At this point in my life I was tired of living in Little Rock, and opted to take a job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Living in Charlotte was great, definitely an improvement from Little Rock as for a "gay" life; it was, what appeared at the time to be, a great place for a gay man to come out and enjoy life. Not long after living in Charlotte, I realized how small it was and how little it offered for a gay man. After about a year, I moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, to start up the legal department for a new formed telecommunications company. After spending nearly 2.5 years in Lake Charles, fortunately most of it was on the road traveling, my company moved me to St. Louis, Missouri where I lived and worked for nearly a year. Then, a call came from a profession colleague of mine that an opportunity with her company, reporting to her, was available and within three weeks I was relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

Living in Atlanta has been great so far, it has given me the opportunity to make some great friends and to discover a lot about myself – some of which I like and some of which I wish I had never discovered.

Overall, I have to say the biggest gift that I have uncovered while in Atlanta, has come to me by virtue of my association with the Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club (a/k/a The Bucks). In my association with this group of guys, I have meet some of the most unique and diverse people that I have ever come across, and without the Bucks it very likely that some of them I would have never had the opportunity to meet and eventually benefit from the impact they have had on me as an individual.
